Trad Climbing Courses

Learn to Lead Trad

If you want to become a trad climber this is the course for you. We’ll pack in as much information as you can manage; there’s no limit to the learning!

Performance Trad

Aimed at climbers with a good foundation that want to break in to the harder grades (eg HVS/E1 and beyond). This is where trad climbing gets really good!

Sea Cliff Climbing

The UK has some of the best sea cliff climbing in the world; learn how to stay out of trouble and there are some unforgettable days to be had hanging out above the waves.

Sport Climbing Courses

Learn to Lead Sport

Looking to move from indoor climbing to outdoor? Maybe you’ve only seconded? We’ll be looking specifically at leading routes, falling off, aiding sections, threading different lower-offs etc. We’ll cover all these basics plus movement coaching

Multi-Pitch Sport Climbing

Multi-pitch sport climbing is actually more committing than you might imagine! Crucial techniques include how to build an anchor, bringing up a second, aiding and multi-pitch abseil descents.

Falling & Mental Coaching

We see it time and time again; people being held back by fear. Fear of falling, a fear of the unknown, fear of failure etc. Mastering fear is an extremely liberating experience; you’ll actually enjoy climbing!

Mountaineering & Alpine Climbing

Guided Scrambling

We love big days out in the mountains. Moving quickly we can cover plenty of technical ground. North Wales is full of classic scrambles!

Intro to Alpine Climbing

Learn the skills you need to take on graded scrambles (grade 2/3) and alpine rock routes; tie in to the rope, grab a lightweight rack and lets go!

Advanced Scrambling Progression

If you’re a competent scrambler but you’re looking to break in to actual graded rock climbs then this course will bridge the gap.
